Nzema Landlords Asked To Follow Regulations

Apewosika (Western Region), 23 Oct.,

The Nzema District Chief Executive, Mr. J.R.D. Kobinah, has warned landlords at Apewosika to conform to town planning regulations or have their structures demolished. Addressing a forum for fishermen yesterday, he advised them to submit their site plans to the district administration for certification before they put up their buildings. This is to ensure easy passage of vehicles in emergencies, especially during fire outbreaks, he said, adding that most casualties could be prevented if developers complied with town planning regulations. Turning to other social issues, Mr. Kobinah urged parents to enrol their children in school and ensure that they complete their basic education and go further. He said education as a parental responsibility is by far the best investment as opposed to physical inheritance which, he stressed, is not enough.
