Nursery school opened at Gomoa-Amanful

Gomoa-Amanful (C/R), May 21, GNA – An Executive officer of the Central Region branch of the Ghana Red Cross Society, Mr Justice Peter Ansah, has established a nur sery school at Gomoa-Amanful with an initial intake of 35 children.

Addressing a Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) of the school, “Peace Academy,” Mr Ansah said his initiative was to reduce the burden of mothers in the area.

He stressed his determination to intensify moral education to attract more people to enrol.

Mr Ansah told parents in the community that without education their children would find it extremely difficult to cater for them in future. “It is for this reason that greater emphasis is being laid on education at both governmental and private levels”, Mr Ansah added Mr Ansah advised attendants at the school to take very good care of the children to attract more children.

He said the school had plans to embark on an expansion programme and appealed to philanthropists and NGOs for assistance.
