Ntunkum community lacks development projects

The people of Ntunkum in the Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar District of the Eastern Region, have expressed dissatisfaction for lack of development projects in their community.

Ntunkum is a small town with seven clusters of communities with a population of about 950 people who are mainly farmers.

The Amankrado, Nana Joseph Kwetey and Sheik Abdul Nuhu an opinion leader, told the Ghana News Agency at Ntunkum at the weekend, that the people are living under deplorable conditions.

They stated that the people deserved to enjoy modern social amenities such as electricity, good roads, schools, library and ICT facilities, public toilet, modern market and potable water.

The two leaders appealed to the District Assembly to assist the communities in their quest for more development facilities to enhance their standard of living.**
