NRC to hear 138 petitions in Cape Coast

Cape Coast, Feb. 23, GNA- The National Reconciliation Commission (NRC) from Tuesday, February 24 to Friday, March 5, hear about 138 petitions during its public sitting in Cape Coast. The petitioners include 39 women.

Mr Mohammed Affum, acting Public Affairs Director of the Commission, who briefed the media about the hearings, said during the nine-day sitting, the Commission would hear cases of human rights violations, such as torture, detentions, killings, ill-treatment, disappearances and seizure of properties.
