NPP youth calls Nana Addo running mate schemers to exercise restraint

Wa, Dec. 15, GNA – The “Upper West Platform”, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) Muslim youth group in the Upper West Region, says it is not happy with the way some elders, youth groups and Members of Parliament in the party are conducting themselves in the debate over the choice of a running mate for the party.

The group claimed that though the ground was fertile for the NPP to return to power, such schemers should exercise restraint and give Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the chance to choose his running mate at the right time.

The group said this in a statement signed by Abdullah Mohammed, Regional Communications Director of the group, in Wa on Thursday.
