NPP to officially launch manifesto today

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) says the party is set to launch its election 2012 manifesto in Accra today.

According to the NPP’s deputy Communications Director, Perry Okudzeto, the manifesto which was endorsed last Saturday seeks to outdoor the various sector contents of the party’s policies.

Mr. Okudzeto said the manifesto which begins with a bold statement “Ghana is ready for transformation’ seeks to expose the failures of the ruling NDC government.

“There would be various presentations from different people led by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and other party people on different sectors and then rounded up by flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“The 2012 manifesto is supposed to prosecute a transformation agenda. The Party would outline the policy areas in the manifesto”.
