NPP to mark Youth Day with public forum at Agbogbloshie

The National Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has scheduled a public forum for Agbogbloshie on Thursday, August 11 to mark the 2016 International Youth Day.

Though the Day falls on Friday, August 12, the party says the forum will be held to mark the beginning of a regional series to be held ahead of the 2016 elections. It is themed ‘Arise Ghana Youth…Lead the Change’.

Barbers, shoeshine boys, tailors, dressmakers, porters, commercial drivers, students, and nurses are expected o give real life testimonies, a statement issued by Sammi Awuku, the National Youth Organiser, said.

“It is also a platform for the NPP to talk about the destiny-changing solutions the NPP ticket of Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has for the youth of the country.”
