“NPP Spent 14.7 Trillion Cedis In Three Months” -NDC.

The Minority Leader in Parliament, Alban Bagbin has accused the NPP government of indulging in the very mistakes it accused the former NDC government of making, warning that the NDC Caucus in parliament will not take things lightly when the house resumes.

To buttress his claim, Mr.Bagbin alleged that the government has awarded a 1.9 billion Cedis contract for the renovation of the Osu Castle to an unregistered company owned by the Minister for Presidential Affairs, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey without passing it through the right process of bidding.

Addressing a meeting of the Wa Central Constituency of the NDC, Mr. Bagbin futher alleged that the NPP government has within the three months of coming into office already spent 14.7 trillion cedis.

According to him, the expenditures were made from loans contracted from the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, African Development Bank and the French Government.
