NPP mourns Late MP

Accra, Aug. 4, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Tuesday formally announced the death of Ms Doris Asibi Seidu, Member of Parliament (MP) for Chereponi in the Northern Region, describing it as “a great loss” to the Party.

Ms Seidu died on August 1 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, and the Party said all NPP flags should fly at half mast throughout the country.

A statement signed by Nana Ohene Ntow, NPP General Secretary, extended the Party’s condolences to the family of the late Ms Seidu. It said burial would take place at Chereponi on August 10, and invited all sympathisers, well wishers and Party members to mourn with the late MP’s family.
