NPP holds thanksgiving service today

Members and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today hold a thanksgiving service at the Central Mosque, Abossey Okai, in Accra to thank Allah for the party’s resounding victory in the just-ended presidential and parliamentary elections.

The event is being organised under the distinguished patronage of the President-elect of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Chief Imam, Dr. Nuhu Sharubutu, will be leading the Muslim thanksgiving service at the Central Mosque, Abosey Okai.

The inter-denominational thanksgiving service takes place afterwards on Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the Accra Sports Stadium, on the theme: “Psalm 20 vs 5: “We will rejoice in thy salvation and in the name of our God. We will set up our banners. The Lord fulfil all thy petition.”

In attendance at both events will be the Vice-President-elect, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, all Members of Parliament-elect and the leadership of the party.

According to the NPP, the members of the general public are cordially invited to these events to thank God and seek His blessings for the incoming administration.
