NPP Execs, DCEs Fight Over Gov’t Money

Investigations by THE INDEPENDENT have revealed that the struggle for supremacy between the Upper Denkyira District Assembly led by the DCE, Mr. Richard Anane Adabor on one hand and the constituency executives of the NPP on another hand has taken a dramatic turn.

The situation has been aggravated by the support to the executives by the MP, Hon. C.O. Nyanor, who sees the DCE as a threat to his position.

THE INDEPENDENT found out from the investigation that the situation last week reached a crescendo when two executive members pounced on the DCE’s driver and gave him some beatings without provocation.

Meanwhile there is also a battle between the DCE and the executives over the disbursement of the Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF).

This has brought a feud between the two groups, which has led to a series of letters to the President, Local Government Minister and the Regional Minister by the executives calling for the removal of the DCE.
