NPP Council of Elders’ confidential letter to Afoko, Agyepong leaks

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Council of Elders have asked Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong – the national chairman and general secretary respectively of the party – to step aside.

Although some members of the Council have denied knowledge of such fiat, Starrfmonline.com has intercepted the letter directing the two embattled national executives to step aside.

Pressure is mounting on the duo to resign after being accused of having a hand in the death of Adams Mahama, the late Upper East regional chairman of the party.

So far, executives of about six regions have passed a vote of no confidence in Agyepong and Afoko.
