Nkwanta North DCE confirmed

Kpassa, May 7, GNA – Mr Abdulai Fulamba, a businessman, was on Wednesday confirmed as the District Chief Executive for Nkwanta North. He polled 15 out of 16 votes in an election supervised by officials of the Electoral Commission. Mr Fulamba failed to attain the required 50 percent vote recently. Mr Fulamba thanked the assembly members and said his victory was not personal but collective decision that should permeate the rank and file of party members. He pledged to put the past behind him and urged all others to emulate this gesture so that collectively the people’s aspiration would be met. Mr Kofi Dzamesi, Volta Regional Minister, urged all members of the party to bury their differences and forge a united front, congenial for addressing the myriads of social problems confronting the area. He said conflicts and social instability with its associated problems would continue to thwart the effort of development and urged the people to remain in peace for development to strive.
