Nkrumah Hall draw with Hasaacas in a friendly match

Cape Coast, Mar. 13, GNA – Kwame Nkrumah Hall of University of Cape Coast, (UCC) played a spectacular game to hold Premier Division side, Sekondi Hasaacas to a 1-1 drawn game in a friendly soccer match played at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium on Sunday. The match was organised to climax the celebrations of the Nkrumah Hall Week. Hasaacas who used virtually new players, took control of the match and scored the opener in the 35th minute through midfielder, Emmanuel Nuamah.

The UCC men threw everything into attack and made several attempts to equalize but the able defence of Hasaacas held them in check for the first half. On resumption of the second half, the UCC men continued to pile pressure on their opponents and it came as no surprise when in the 56th minute when they earned a penalty for outside right Madjdi Abdul to convert for the much needed equaliser.
