NGO donates to Ho Regional Hospital

Ho, July 30, GNA – All In Motion (AIM), a Kpando based non-governmental organisation, in conjunction with the Anglican Diocese of Ho, on Friday donated orthopaedic items, worth over 12 million cedis to the Volta Regional Hospital.

The items comprised 25 wheel chairs, 10 walkers and a number of clutches and walking sticks.

Mr Emmanuel Awasi, AIM Project Co-ordinator, said the donation was from Wheels For The World, Joni and Friends and American International Baptist Ministries’ for distribution to the needy, the physically challenged and health institutions.

He said since 1996, AIM had distributed over 600 wheel chairs and accessories to individuals and health institutions.

Right Reverend Matthias Medadues-Badahu, Bishop of the Ho Anglican Diocese, called on other public-spirited individuals and organisations to assist the Hospital to ensure quality service delivery.

Dr Geoffrey Nyamuame, Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, thanked the donors and appealed to other NGOs, philanthropists to emulate the example.
