NGO donates to Ghana Health Service

Accra Jan. 21, GNA – A non- governmental organization (NGO), Amoo’s Way Out Ministry, on Friday donated items worth 6,000 dollars to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

The items including arm beds, mattresses, wheel chairs and bails of used clothing are to be distributed to various health facilities in the country.

The US-based founder of the NGO, the Reverend Louis Kofi Amoo, said he saw it as a duty to assist the country especially in the upkeep of the health sector.

Professor Agyemang Badu Akosa, Director General of the GHS, who received the items, said the items would be equitably distributed. country.

He called on Ghanaians living in the Diaspora to emulate the kind gesture.
