New Juaben observes sanitation day

Residents of the New Juaben Municipality on Saturday joined the workers of the Municipal Assembly to observe this month’s National Sanitation Day.

Residents from Adweso, Mile 50, Two Streams as well as Korle Nkwanta all joined in the exercise which was focused at the Adweso market area to Mile 50.

Apart from the focused area, the various assembly members led the people in their electoral areas to clean the gutters, refuse dumps as well as the road sides in their communities.

Members of the various transport unions cleaned the various lorry parks in the Municipality.

Despite an early dawn rainfall, the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Mahammud Azonko was present to take part in the exercise and went round the various communities to monitor the clean-up exercise.
