Koforidua, March 26, GNA – The New Juaben Municipal Co-ordinating Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has denied media report that the Eastern Regional Minister, Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo and the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Alex Asamoah, were engaged in activities that were dividing the ranks of the party in the Municipality.
This was contained in a statement issued by the party in Koforidua on Wednesday.
The statement expressed the confidence of the party in the regional minister and the MCE.
The statement was jointly signed by the Chairman of the Municipal Coordinating Committee of the Party, Mr Owusu Boahene Koduro, the secretary to the committee, Mr E. Foster Tetteh and the Deputy Regional Propaganda Secretary Mr Kwadwo Gyeke-Dako.
The party advised members with grievances to channel them through the laid down structures of the party for settlement or take advantage of the open door policy of the regional minister for solution. 26 March 10
