NDC to postpone Primaries

The ruling National Democratic Congress will postpone its planned November 7 primaries, party sources say.

The subtle confirmation is coming weeks after some members of the party including its core in Parliament hinted of the change.

Kasapafmonline.com picked up pieces of information from the leadership of the party in parliament weeks ago about the yet-to-be-made-public new date, some of whom said they were worried about the intended change.

There are suggestions the change may be due to a strict working schedule of the sitting president, who is also seeking reelection.

The party is yet to make any official statement on the speculations.
