NDC supporters urged to stand solidly behind the party

Mr Emmanuel Attah Obeng, Mpraeso Constituency Chairman of National Democratic Congress (NDC), has advised supporters of the Party to unite to enable government to implement its pragmatic policies and programmes for the country.

Mr Obeng gave the advice when he addressed supporters of the party during a thank you tour, which took him to Ntomem, Kwahu Mpraeso Number One and Kwahu Besease.

He said although the Party lost both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the constituency, the NDC was able to increase its votes from 7,200 in 2008 to nearly 10,000 votes in 2012.

Mr Victor Benefo, a Constituency Executive Member of the Party, said the NDC would soon organise elections in the branches, constituency in the Eastern Region to elect new executives.

He advised members of the NDC to vote for competent and hard working members to lead the Party to win the 2016 election.

Some supporters of the NDC appealed to the leadership of the Party for financial assistance from the Local Enterprises Development and Skills Programme to expand their farms and other economic activities.

They also requested for the extension of electricity and construction of boreholes in their communities to improve living standards.
