The National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) on Wednesday congratulated all workers on the occasion of the celebration of May Day.
A statement signed in Accra by Baba Jamal, Deputy General Secretary of the NDC said the party: “shares in your commitment in building the nation and encourages you to do more to lift the image of the country”.
It said the NDC appreciates the hard economic conditions the country was going through and the accompanying low salaries, poor working conditions and the high cost of living.
It however, urged workers to rededicate themselves to the service of the nation since there was hope for the future.
“Once again, we wish you happy May Day and may the good Lord bless us all”, the statement added.
