The jostling for votes in tomorrow’s presidential and parliamentary primaries of the ruling National Democratic Congress appears to have reached the crescendo as aspirants are seen doing extraordinary things to shore up their popularity.
The Minister of Roads and Transport Inusah Fuseini, who is seeking re-election in the Tamale Central constituency in the Northern region, has been spotted teaching in a classroom as part of his campaign towards the November 21 polls.
The outspoken politician was seen in photographs available to StarrFMonline.com teaching mathematics to pupils of the Anbariya Primary School in the Tamale Metropolis.
Delegates of the NDC will go to the polls in 274 out of the 275 constituencies across the country to elect their parliamentary candidates for the 2016 elections.
President John Mahama, who is contesting unopposed, is expected to receive an overwhelming endorsement from the umbrella family. The polls will open at 7am and close at 3pm. The electoral commission will supervise the elections. The party is voting for the first time, with its newly developed, biometric register.
