Kumasi, Aug 23, GNA – The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Old Guards Association has congratulated Vice-President John Mahama on his re-nomination as the party’s presidential running mate for the 2012 elections.
“It is indeed welcome news to us and to all well-meaning NDC members and the greater Ghanaian electorate”, it said. This was contained in press release signed by Mr Stephen Kwaku Boateng, the Vice-Chairman, in Kumasi on Tuesday. It said the 93Mills-Mahama Team” has been a winning team and would remain as such, noting that, 93no good strategist will ever change a winning team.”
They said it was their prayer that the 93Almighty God would continue to bless you and to advance the cause of the NDC.” The association assured the Vice-President of its total support at all times even as he relentlessly helped to prosecute the 93Better Ghana Agenda.”
