NDC NEC commended for nominating Mahama as Presidential candidate

The Upper West Regional Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has commended the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party for nominating His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for approval as the party’s Presidential candidate for the 2012 general election.

The Regional Executive Committee gave the commendation in a statement issued and signed by Abubakar Mutiu-Rahaman, Regional Youth Organizer of the party.

It noted that by the nomination, NEC had demonstrated its belief in the vision and good judgment of the late President Atta Mills.

The statement prayed and hoped that the National Delegates Congress would follow suit with the approval to enable the party to move ahead to win the elections to console the late President in his grave.

“This is the best tribute we can pay to the late President John Evans Atta Mills”, the statement emphasized.**
