NDC is Chicken – MP

Hon Joe Baidoe-Ansah, MP for Effia Kwesimintsim, has stated that NDC decision not to take part in the Upper Denkyira by-election is a display of political cowardice.

He says the NDC elected Prof. Mills in order to market him early enough to the electorate, but several months after his election, since December 2002, the party was yet to come out with its full compliment of Parliamentary candidates in the Western Region and other constituencies in the country, where it does not have sitting MPs.

In an interview with the paper in his Constituency, the Honourable maintained that if the NDC is no chicken, it would not chicken out of the up-coming by-election slated for June 29.

Hon. Baidoe-Ansah predicted that by this token, NDC was going to also chicken out in many other constituencies where it is yet to elect Parliamentary candidates.
