NDC Europe welcomes a Delegation from Headquarters to the 2011 German SPD Party Congress.
NDC Europe is a network of NDC branches in Europe which presently includes Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands, Norway and Italy. It aims to strengthen the structures of the NDC Party in Europe and Ghana, build our alliances with mainstream EU Socialist Parties with the aim of enhancing the Democracy and Governance system in Ghana.
The Annual participation of NDC Officials to the SPD Congress has been one of the main initiatives of NDC Europe to enable the interaction of German SPD Party Officials with NDC Senior Officials.
The forthcoming Congress takes place at the background of a worsening Global economic financial situation which has the potential impact of affecting developing economies such as Ghana. Furthermore it also comes at the backdrop of the need for countries to secure an Agreement on Climate Change initiatives.
It is believed that the Delegation from Headquarters will also help contribute to the debates on ways that Ghana and Africa can contribute towards stabilizing the Global financial economy and also halt the deterioration of the Global Environment as a result of Climate Change
The Delegation will be led by Hon Kofi Attor, International Director of the NDC Party and will be in Berlin from 4-6 December.
