Members and sympathisers of the NDC Party across the length and breadth of Europe were shocked at the sudden death of our beloved Leader, President and Father of the Nation, Prof Evans Atta-Mills.
On behalf of NDC Europe Executives and the entire Ghanaian Communities in Europe, we wish to share our deepest sympathies with the first Lady, Dr Ernestina Naadu Mills, the Mills family, the people of Ghana, the NDC Party and the Government of the Republic of Ghana.
We remember in 2008 when Prof joined us in one of our yearly activities in Hamburg. His words of wisdom, encouragement and guidance have been a light to our deliberations in Europe.
It’s times like this that put our faith to the test. We feel that is why we have to use our faith to see us through the grief and despair that comes with his passing away. Prof would like us to keep his memory in the NDC alive in promoting the ideals that he stood for amongst us and in the country as a whole; peace, love , tolerance, compassion and justice.
Prof, we will miss you and will always remember you! May you rest peacefully in the bosom of our Lord.
