NDC Constituency Chairman calls for financial support

Kuntanase (Ash), May 26, GNA – An appeal has been made to supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to contribute towards the campaign for Election2004.

Mr Kwame Amankwa, Bosomtwe Constituency Chairman of the Party, who made the appeal, said what the NDC needed now was enough funds to enable the party to intensify its campaign.

Mr Amankwa, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Kuntanase on Tuesday, said as at now, only one person had collected a nomination form to contest the primaries but was yet to submit it. He said Dr Oteng Agyei, who contested the seat twice against the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) had not come for nomination forms. Mr Amankwa, therefore, urged members of the Party to come forward and contest to wrest power from the New Patriotic Party in Election 2004.
