NDC candidate for Techiman North confirmed

Tuobodom (B/A), Aug. 12, GNA – Mr Alex Kyeremeh, a 40-year-old Accountant and Entrepreneur, has been elected by popular acclamation, as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Techiman North Constituency.

Mr Kyeremeh, who was the sole candidate at the close of nominations, replaces Mr Isaac K. Adjei-Mensah, the incumbent Member of Parliament and Deputy Minority Leader.

Mr Kyeremeh told the Party Delegates’ Congress at Tuobodom, in the Brong Ahafo Region, that he would work hard to retain the seat to draw investors to the area.

Mr Adjei-Mensah, who defended his decision not to contest the seat again, said there was the need to inject new blood into the political arena.

Mr Mohammed Doku, Regional Secretary of the NDC, said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had imposed untold social and economic hardships on Ghanaians.
