Nayiri commends Mahama for retaining DCE

The Overlord of the Mamprugu Traditional Area, Nayiri Naabohagu Mahami Abdulai Sheriga, has commended the president for renominating Mr Adam Imoro as East Mamprusi District Chief Executive (DCE).

He said the renomination would enhance the socio-economic development of the area and promote peace, unity and social harmony.

The Nayiri made the remarks when assembly members, constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress and youth groups, accompanied by the nominee paid a courtesy call on him at Nalerigu in the Northern Region.

He called on all to rally behind the nominee since he was diligent, a peacemaker, hardworking and dedicated to promoting development in the area. He also added that peace and unity in the area was crucial.

Mr Imoro thanked the president for the confidence reposed in him and assured the people that he would work to facilitate the development of the area.
