National Service Personnel calls for review of allowances

Wa, March 14, GNA – The Upper West Regional Chapter of the National Service Personnel Association, has called on government to increase the allowance paid to Service personnel to conform to the recent hike in prices of Petroleum products and transport fares.

This was contained in a statement, signed by Mr Yakubu Tamim Froko, Public Relations Officer of the Regional Chapter of the Association. It called on the National Service Secretariat to pay allowances of the personnel regularly to offset the difficulties they go through when they are cash strapped.

They commended the people of the Region for the warm reception they accord to the personnel.
