National Director of SOS urges the youth to be disciplined

Tema, July 30, GNA – Mr Kojo Mattah, National Director of SOS Ghana, has advised the youth to be disciplined to make positive impact in society.

Addressing the 15th Speech and Prize Giving and graduation ceremony of the Vocational Training Centre of SOS at Tema, Mr Mattah said “To be able to achieve your goals, you need to discipline yourself.” He stressed the need for the youth to evaluate their lives through developing a plan that would help them succeed in future because to ensure a well-defined goal and excel in life could only be achieved through discipline.

Mr Mattah noted that although Ghana was facing many challenges, Ghanaians especially the youth could take advantage of the opportunities available through discipline, hard work, good character and the right attitude.

Ms Esther Cobbah, Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Africa Limited an NGO, speaking on the theme ‘A disciplined youth in the business world’ stressed the need for students to be disciplined to have skills they had acquired at their finger tips.

She urged the students to pursue courses that they had an aptitude for and endeavour to develop their skills to the highest level through discipline at the various levels of education. Certificates were presented to 59 students who had received tuition in secretarial and catering programmes while prizes were given to deserving students.
