Napo arrested over Ashtown gunshots

The NPP Member of Parliament for Manhyia Matthew Opoku Prempeh was Friday arrested by the Ashanti Regional Police Command.

Two people sustained gun wounds when the MP went to Abirem near Ashtown on his house-to-house campaign when a member of his team whose name was given as Gausu allegedly fired gunshots wounding one Maphus and the sister. A group following the MP were said to have again pounced on Maphus and inflicted severe cutlass wounds on him.
