Nana Ohene Ntow cautions NPP members

Former General Secretary of the NPP and spokesperson of the Alan Kyeremanten campaign team Nana Ohene Ntow says what happened at the party’s Electoral College is just a constitutional process.

Speaking to Radio Ghana on calls from party faithful for all other aspirants to step down for Nana Akufo-Addo to lead the party in 2016, Mr Ntow said such calls are alien to the NPP’s democratic tradition.

Nana Ntow said he does not believe that the Electoral College result is a reflection of what would happen in October when the party elects a flagbearer for the 2016 elections. On the alleged attack on the National Chairman, Paul Afoko’s workers by thugs of the party, Nana Ntow said it is a sad development and must not be encouraged.
