In a bid to support infrastructure development and enhance the learning environment, Nabroso Group of Companies in Prestea Heman of the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality has donated 100 bags of cement to Assin Anyinabrem Catholic Basic School in the Assin South District of Ghana.
The donation was made on the back of an appeal by Hon. Thomas Ayensu, the Assembly Member for Anyinabirem electoral area, who expressed concerns about the school’s infrastructure. Mr. Samuel Ofori Boateng, Head of Media at Nabroso Group Companies who spoke on behalf of the Group CEO Hon Alex Yaw Baako(Nana Abroso) and Mr.Collins Aboagye (Nana Two)emphasizd the company’s commitment to education and community development.
Also some of the Traditional council Heads and Assembly member Hon. Thomas Ayensu Dida in Anyinabirem praised Nabroso group companies for their generosity and support for the community especially their mechanized borehole provided by them.
They urged the government to come their aid in improving the school’s infrastructure, stating that the area seems neglected.Backing to his statement, he said he has been made an appeal of uncompleted school building started by the Late Assin South DCE Hon. Sabina Appiah- Kubi to to the previous government but nothing good came out of it. So they are urging the current administration to come to their aid.
On Her part, Headmistress for Anyinabirem Catholic Basic School, Madam Rosemary Bentil stood on behalf of the school to thank Nabroso Group of companies their commitment to improve infrastructure development in the school and later appealed for further support to renovate the school, which is in deplorable state.
