Muslims of Ghana Armed Forces celebrate Eid-ul-Adha

The Muslims of the Ghana Armed Forces would hold congregational prayers and thanksgiving in all units and garrisons as part of activities to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Adha.

In Accra, the prayers would be held at the Al-Aziz Central Mosque, Burma Camp, for troops and families at 0830 hours on Friday, September 1, 2017.

This was announced in a statement signed by Commander M.A. Larbi, Deputy Director (Information and Press Relations) and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday.

It said some members of the diplomatic corps, government officials and parliamentarians would join the Burma Camp congregation.
