Muslims asked to ensure peace and harmony

Takoradi, Jan. 20, GNA – Maulvi Navead Ahmad Aadii, Western Regional missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, on Thursday called on Muslims to submit themselves to the will of Allah and to make the necessary sacrifice to assist in national development and to ensure peace and harmony in the country.

He made the call at the celebration of Eid-Ul-Adha by Ahmadi Muslims in Sekondi-Takoradi.

Maulvi Aadii said the festival teaches that Muslims should make in all aspects of life, including their dealings with their fellow Muslims and non-Muslims and in the affairs of the state.

He said in human relations, unpleasant things happen and every Muslim should be prepared to sacrifice their feelings to bring about peace and harmony.

Maulvi Aadii said it is purification of heart and righteous acts that are acceptable to Allah and these are what are required of every Muslim. He said whatever has happened in the lives of Muslims in the past should be forgotten and make a new beginning like a newly born baby. Prayers were offered for the President, members of government and people, especially the vulnerable.
