The MPs, whose constituencies fall within the Builsa District, said they used part of their MP Common Fund to pay expenses of clearing the items from the harbour. They said even though they belonged to different political parties, they considered the welfare of the people as paramount and pledged to work together towards the development of the district. They and appealed to the hospital administration to maintain the items and equipment to prolong their life span. Dr Anthony Aleka, the District Director of Health Services and the Medical Superintendent in charge of the hospital, received the items. He commended the MPs for their assistance and said that would complement government efforts in providing items to ensure quality healthcare to the people in the district.
