MPS are urged to resolve impasse on the Supreme Court’s Ruling

THE Brong Ahafo Region Youth Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has called on parliamentarians to find an amicable solution to the impasse in parliament over the recent Supreme Court ruling on retained ministers.

He said “our democracy is an infant one and therefore goodwill must be exercised to ensure its sustenance.” Nana Boahen, who is also a Kumasi -based private legal practitioner said this in an interview at Sunyani.

He urged the MPs to critically look into the issue at stake objectively to ensure that a final acceptable compromise is reached. He said Ghana faces international ridicule following the fracas in Parliament and earlier it is resolved the better.
