Mount Moriah Prayer and Retreat Centre is five years old

The Mount Moriah Prayer and Retreat Centre, of the Presbyterian Church is marking its fifth anniversary with a three- day prayer conference from November 18- November 20.

The conference on the theme: “Extra Oil Conference,” would be climaxed with a thanksgiving service on November 22.

Reverend Daniel Kwesi Ayim, Director of the Prayer Centre told the GNA that the place was commissioned as a prayer centre in November 2010 by Right Rev Emmanuel Martey, Moderator of the Presbyterian Church.

“We started with a few people meeting here every Wednesday to prayer, now hundreds of Presbyterians and Christians in general join us to pray every Wednesday.”

Rev Ayim said the place is also open for all Christians, individuals and groups who want a quiet place to retreat and pray.

He urged all Christians who have time to join in the prayer conference, saying: “We need extra oil to end the year and start the New Year.”

The Mount Moriah Prayer and Retreat Centre is also the Ga Presbytery Prayer centre.
