Moslems asked to Emulate the Life of Prophet Mohammed

Bole, Sept. 22, GNA – The Chief Imam of the Moslem Community in Bole, Alhaji Imam Abdul Omar, has advised Moslems to emulate the good life style of the Prophet Mohammed in the Holy Quaran by preaching peace, unity and tolerance in their various communities. Alhaji Omar said for Moslems, the period of Ramadan is for the promotion of peace as well as the spiritual transformation of the individual for a new and a better life.

The Chief Imam gave this advise when he led the Moslem community in prayers to mark the end of this year’s Ramadan fasting at the Roman Catholic primary school park in Bole.

Alhaji Omar also asked all Moslems to use the opportunity to pray for the youth to live decent lives devoid of violence, conflict and other social vices that are likely to retard the progress and developement of the area.

The District Chief Executive for Bole, Alhaji Abudu Seidu Sampson, was among the congregation that took part in the prayers. 22 Sept. 09
