Ghanaian-Italian midfielder Moses Odjer has joined Siena from Livorno on a free transfer, signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2028.
The 30-year-old defensive midfielder moves to Siena after one season with Livorno, having joined the club from Ascoli without a fee in September 2025. His switch to Siena was completed on 27 August 2026, with the club preparing for life in Serie D – E.
Odjer offers experience across Italy’s professional divisions, having made 125 appearances in Serie B and a further 99 in Serie C. He has also played in Serie C’s other regional division, where he recorded 58 appearances and scored three goals.
Born in Tema, Ghana, Odjer holds Ghanaian and Italian nationality. He began his senior career with Catania after progressing from Tema Youth, before spending the 2015-16 season with Salernitana on loan. That move was later made permanent in July 2016, when he left Catania for a reported €900,000 fee.
The midfielder subsequently played for Trapani, Palermo, Foggia, Pianese, Ascoli and Livorno. He joined Palermo from Trapani in 2020 on a free transfer and moved to Foggia two years later, also without a fee. His more recent career has included free-transfer moves to Pianese, Ascoli and Livorno.
Odjer’s arrival continues a sequence of moves within the Italian game and marks his latest change of club after a season at Livorno. His career record includes five goals in Serie B and Serie C combined, along with eight assists in those competitions.
The new Siena player is listed at 1.70 metres tall and can use either foot. He joins a club competing in Italy’s fourth tier with a contract lasting through the end of the 2027-28 season.
Odjer has now completed his free transfer from Livorno to Siena and is contracted to the club until June 2028.
