More courts to be established nation-wide

Bolgatanga, June 18, GNA – Mr Justice Anin Yeboah, a Supreme Court Judge on Tuesday said more courts would be established nation-wide to enable people have access to justice. He noted that more courts would not only speed up the administration of justice but also promote the rule of law. Mr Justice Anin Yeboah announced this during a visit to Upper East Region to ascertain the level of development in the judiciary in the Region.

Mr Samuel N’lary, Upper East Regional Coordinating Director briefing Mr Justice Anin Yeboah and his entourage on the security situation in Bawku, stressed the need for the establishment of courts in districts, especially the newly created districts in the Region. Mr Justice Anin Yeboah accompanied by Mr Samuel Yeboah, Judiciary Secretary and Mr Justice S. Suubaare, a Tamale High Court Judge would visit Bawku, Zebilla and other districts in the Region.
