Ministry To Clamp Down On Youth Brothels

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports will soon embark on a nationwide exercise to clamp down on youth brothels.

A Minister of State at the Ministry, Hon. Alhaji Rashid Bawa, said the ministry was worried about the increasing number of brothels where the youth were made to buy alcohol and drugs as well as hire rooms for sexual activities.

This was contained in a speech read on his behalf at the launch of the 28th annual Health Awareness Week celebration of the Dispensing Technician Students Association of Ghana (STUDTAG) in Kumasi.
