Ministry mourns death of NUGS President

Accra, Oct. 27, GNA – The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport says it has received with shock the death of Prince Abdul Hanan Adams, President of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) through a motor accident near Kibi in the Eastern Region at the weekend.

A press release signed by Ms. Elizabeth Ohene, Minister of State in charge of Tertiary Education, on Monday said it joined the bereaved family and the entire student body to mourn the painful death of the NUGS President.

The release noted that Prince Adams assumed his leadership of NUGS barely a month ago and his death was a tragic loss to his family, students and the whole country.

The Ministry prayed that Allah should grant Prince Adams eternal life.
