Minister calls for efforts to develop Ghana

Adweso-Koforidua, Dec. 4, GNA – Mr Yaw Barimah, the Eastern Regional Minister, has called on all Ghanaians to contribute their bit towards the development of the country.

“No contribution is negligible. The country needs all small contributions as well as those who can offer greater efforts if the country is to tap the resources of all its citizens for development.” Mr Barimah was speaking at a harvest of the Adweso Calvary Methodist Church on Sunday.

He called on Christians to extend the unity and sense of purpose with which they come together to build the church to their secular life to help change the country for the better.

Mr Barimah urged Christians to pray for the President and members of government for God to grant them divine wisdom to lead the country to prosperity.

He urged Christians to champion the campaign to encourage people to join the National Health Insurance Scheme to help reduce poverty in the country.
