Mills Will Not Campaign; His Work Will Speak For Him – Nii Lantey Vanderpuye

President John Evans Atta Mills is unlikely to be seen on NDC’s campaign platforms as the December elections draw closer.

According to the Director of Operations at the Office of the President, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, the President still has official duties to perform and will not relent on his sworn oath to serve the people.

“He has to stay in the office, do what he has to do in the office and when time permits that he has official duties to perform outside the office, he will do so and his work will talk for him,” Mr. Vanderpuye told Citi News.

He added: “I will be a forerunner for him, I’m preparing the ground for him then he will step into Odododiodio gallantly and in his magnificence and wrap up.”

Nii Vanderpuye also discounted accusations that President Mills is unwell.

He stated that, “I know he is stronger and healthier than any presidential candidate.”**
