Mills calls on NDC members to remain loyal to the party

Kumasi, Dec. 21, GNA – Prof Evans Atta Mills, presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Election 2008, has called on members of the party to remain loyal and to be committed to the cause of the NDC.

He told them not to be complacent but rather gird their loins and support the party in its membership drive to ensure massive victory in the 2008 general election.

This was contained in a message read on his behalf after open prayers by some Muslims to mark Eid-Ul-Adha. Prof Mills said as they celebrated the festival, Muslims should continue to ask God for peaceful and successful election next year. He spoke about the importance of education and appealed to Muslims to encourage their children to study hard. 21 Dec 07
