MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FAILS TO ACCOUNT FOR MATERIALS DONATED

The Chief and people of Dodi-Akum in the Volta Region have appealed to their MP, Mr.. Gyeapong Kudzo, to make available to them building materials donated by the US International Development Agency for the completion of the local E.P. Junior Secondary School. According to the Assembly Member for the area, Mr.. Atsu Blaise Kwasi, work on the six classroom block and a store has come to a standstill though the US International Development Agency has donated ?5 million for the completion of the project. The new block will replace the old one which is in a bad state. The people have also appealed to the former Kadjebi District Chief Executive to release the amount of 80 thousand cedis allegedly kept with him for the project.
