Member of Parliament donates roofing sheets to disaster victims

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuman North, Mr. Justice Joe Appiah, has donated 15 packets of roofing sheets to the Zongo community at Kwashieman in Accra.

A rainstorm hit the area last week, destroying several structures.

Mr. Appiah said he did not make the donation because of political considerations but felt it was his duty to assist his people in their hour of need.

Receiving the 300 pieces of roofing sheets on behalf of his people, the Zongo Chief of Kwashieman, Zariki Imurana Billa, expressed appreciation to the MP for the donation, especially the speed with which he responded to their plight without any prompting.**
